Police in Clayton County have been working on their investigation of a pedestrian accident that took place when one person was struck and killed by a drunk driver. The pedestrian has not been identified as of yet.

Police say that the driver who struck the pedestrian, who has also not yet been identified, stayed at the scene of the accident and was arrested for drunk driving. Police discovered quickly that the driver was under the influence.
