Clayton County, GA (December 24, 2018) – Police responded to a pedestrian crash at a Clayton County intersection two nights.

Clayton County, GA (December 24, 2018) – Police responded to a pedestrian crash at a Clayton County intersection two nights ago that took the life of one person.

The driver responsible for the accident was arrested at the scene due to the fact that police quickly determined they were under the influence. The victim was struck by the driver, neither of which were yet identified, near the intersection of Riverdale Road and Garden Walk Boulevard.

Police say that the victim was 39 years old and tragically lost their life at the scene of the accident. At this time, the circumstances of the accident are still being investigated.
