Clinton, SC (November 15, 2018) – On Thursday morning, November 15, a truck driver lost his life in a serious.

Clinton, SC (November 15, 2018) – On Thursday morning, November 15, a truck driver lost his life in a serious fatal truck accident that happened in Laurens County involving a fallen tree.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol said that the accident took place around 4:15 a.m. At the time of the accident, police reported that the 2019 Freightliner was heading east when the truck suddenly ran into a tree that came down in the middle of the road.

The truck was involved in an accident and struck a guardrail off the side of the road. From there, the driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver has since been identified as a coroner as 58-year-old William Lee Weger. Police continue to investigate the accident at this time.
