Colleton County, SC (November 29, 2018) – A multi-vehicle accident took place in Colleton County that led to injuries in five separate people, according to police who responded. The accident took place in the 11300 block of the Jefferies Highway.

The accident took place between two passenger vehicles and a small SUV. The accident was so severe that it shut down the highway.  It was closed for about two hours while the Highway Patrol investigated the incident.

Two men from the passenger vehicles and three from inside the SUV were taken to the hospital with a variety of injuries, but all parties are expected to survive. At this time, police are investigating the accident in full.
