Colleton County, SC (November 14, 2018) – In Colleton County, a pedestrian lost their life in a fatal pedestrian accident.

Colleton County, SC (November 14, 2018) – In Colleton County, a pedestrian lost their life in a fatal pedestrian accident after they were struck by an SUV. The accident took place on the Charleston Highway on Tuesday, November 13.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol quickly responded to the scene of the accident. They found that the pedestrian had not been wearing reflective material when he or she was struck by an SUV. The driver was identified as Christal Buckner.

Buckner had been traveling westbound on the highway when she ran into the pedestrian who had also been traveling westbound at the time. The deceased has not yet been identified.

As of right now, police continue to investigate this fatal accident.
