Colquitt County, GA (October 27, 2018) – This week, we reported on a fatal crash that took place on Thigpen.

Colquitt County, GA (October 27, 2018) – This week, we reported on a fatal crash that took place on Thigpen Trail just north of the Hamilton Elementary School that took the life of one child and injured another.

Police have since identified the two children involved in the accident. The first was 10-year-old Noah Palmer, who was hit by the car’s front left side and died hours later at the hospital. The other child was identified as 7-year-old Dylan Wolfe, who was struck by the vehicle’s right side mirror. He is doing better in the hospital currently but is still suffering from life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the vehicle who struck them was identified as Monica Cutts, who is now facing charges of first-degree vehicular homicide and a variety of other charges.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing at this time.
