Columbia County, GA – Coroner Identifies One Following Fatal Accident

Columbia County, GA (December 24, 2018) – Late last night, a fatal accident took place on Interstate 20 that led.

Columbia County, GA (December 24, 2018) – Late last night, a fatal accident took place on Interstate 20 that led to the death of one person. He has since been identified by the coroner.

25-year-old Michael Lyles was, unfortunately, pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. Two other people were in the vehicle at the time. Police said that 18-year-old Austin Dennis was driving and Teresa Dennis was another passenger.

Dennis ran his vehicle off the side of the road before he crossed the line back onto the road and was involved in an accident. Austin and Teresa were taken to the hospital with a variety of injuries.

Police continue to investigate the accident at this time.
