Columbia County, GA (October 18, 2018) – A Wednesday morning car accident took place yesterday in Columbia County. He was identified as a Georgia Department of Transportation worker.
At this time, the name of the worker has not been released. He remains in the hospital due to the severity of his injuries.
The accident took place on Washington Road. The employee was reportedly doing overnight work in the area when he was struck in his vehicle. Right now, police are not aware of the condition of the worker.
