Columbia County, GA – Police Investigate Semi-Truck Accident Thoroughly

Columbia County, GA (October 31, 2018) – Police continue to investigate a semi-truck that we reported on involving a pickup.

Columbia County, GA (October 31, 2018) – Police continue to investigate a semi-truck that we reported on involving a pickup truck that led to serious injuries in those involved. The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office continues their investigation into the matter.

At the time of the accident, a Toyota Tundra was traveling on the inside lane of Highway 232 when the driver of the semi-truck failed to see the truck and pulled out into its path. This is when the pickup truck ran into them and became lodged under the vehicle. 

The driver of the Tundra was taken to the hospital with serious injuries and, according to police, remains there today. 

The driver of the semi-truck was identified as Fredderico Dandre Daniels. He said that his view was obstructed by several trees at the intersection and he is facing charges now.

Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
