Columbia, SC (December 24, 2018) – The Columbia Police Department is investigating the circumstances of a fatal pedestrian accident that happened on Garners Ferry Road.
Investigators were called to the scene of an accident around 11 p.m. last night to find that a male pedestrian had lost his life in an accident at the 7600 block. There was no word on the other driver and if they sustained injuries. However, they did remain at the scene of the accident to cooperate with police.
At this time, the pedestrian’s identity has not been released. At this time, an investigation into the accident continues.
