Columbia, SC (November 15, 2018) – On Farrow Road, a two-car accident took place that left a married couple dead.

Columbia, SC (November 15, 2018) – On Farrow Road, a two-car accident took place that left a married couple dead and injured three others on Tuesday morning, November 13.

At the time of the accident, a vehicle was making a right-hand turn when another vehicle suddenly ran off the road and struck the first turning vehicle. The accident happened around 9:20 a.m. that morning.

Police say that, when they arrived at the scene of the accident, both victims were transported to the hospital with severe blunt chest trauma. The two people were identified as 79-year-old Robert Evans and 76-year-old Madeline Evans.

Three other people were inside the other vehicle and were taken to the hospital with injuries, but they are all expected to be okay.

The accident remains under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol. At this time, they have not confirmed whether or not charges will be filed.
