Columbia, SC (November 15, 2018) – In Columbia, a two-vehicle accident took place at an intersection that led to the loss of lives of two people and injuries in several others. The South Carolina Highway Patrol investigated the accident.
The wreck happened yesterday morning, November 14 in northern Richland County. Autopsies on the two people who lost their lives were scheduled for today.
The accident happened at an intersection in the area when the victim’s car was struck by a vehicle that ran off the side of the road and then came back over.
There were several people inside the vehicle that lost control for reasons that are not yet known at this time. They were all taken to the hospital but are expected to be okay. Everyone involved in the accident had a seatbelt on at the time.
At this time, police have not released whether or not they will be filing charges. They continue to investigate.
