Columbus, GA (November 30, 2018) – Yesterday morning, November 29, a motor vehicle driver was involved in a car accident.

Columbus, GA (November 30, 2018) – Yesterday morning, November 29, a motor vehicle driver was involved in a car accident that caused their vehicle to crash into a restaurant.

The accident happened around 11:45 a.m. yesterday when an SUV smashed into the side of a Moe’s Southwest Grill on Whittlesey Boulevard. The restaurant’s manager said that the SUV rammed through an iron gate and crashed into a large window.

Injuries were reported in relation to the accident. The male driver inside the vehicle was transported to the hospital with a variety of injuries.

At this time, the restaurant is closed until damages are repaired. Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
