The fatal accident allegedly involved two vehicles. Photographs at the scene showed one vehicle sitting on the highway, while another was rolled over on the side of the road, its back-end up on the guardrail.

The driver of the yellow Ford pickup truck that rolled over was identified as 27-year-old Mitchell Lee Myles. He was pronounced dead around 30 minutes after the accident took place.

Myles had rear-ended a vehicle in front of him when the accident occurred. Nobody was injured in that vehicle. However, the event was so forceful that it caused Myles’ vehicle to lose control and strike the guardrail, tossing the vehicle over.

Bumper-to-bumper traffic resulted following the accident. Police continue to investigate.
