Pedestrian Accident in Georgia
Georgia ranked 16th highest in the U.S. for pedestrian-related fatalities this year, which is one of the highest rankings that they have ever received for these serious accidents. Statistics show that these accidents have spiked over the past few years, with 204 fatalities reported in 2015 and 285 in 2017. Though these accidents are on the rise, this doesn’t mean that Georgia isn’t taking measures to attempt to reduce these numbers.
