Columbus, GA (December 3, 2018) – This past week, a school bus accident took place involving a bus from the Muscogee County School that left two students with injuries.

The accident took place at the intersection of 17th Avenue and Forest Avenue around 2:50 pm. Two students reported injuries and were taken to the hospital for treatment.

At the time of the crash, there were 15 students on the bus who were being transported to the Rigdon Road Elementary School. The students who were not injured were picked up by another bus and arrived safely at their destination.

The Columbus Police Department continues to investigate the accident at this time.
