Cross Island Parkway, SC (December 2, 2018) – One person was hospitalized following a serious rollover accident that took place on the Cross Island Parkway this morning, December 2.
The accident took place this morning around 7:33 a.m., according to the Hilton Fire Rescue officials who were called out to the accident scene.
The accident happened where the roadway makes a split and motorists can either go to Gumtree Road or on the overpass. The crash was cleared by 8:45 a.m. The vehicle was involved in an accident and hydroplaned in the area, causing it to roam from the roadway.
The driver was arrested and one was injured. Nobody else received injuries in the accident. At this time, police continue to investigate.
