Cumberland County, NC (December 1, 2018) – In Cumberland County, one person reportedly lost their life and another received injuries in a fatal accident on the interstate.
Police were called to the scene of Interstate 95 near Parkton to find that one person was killed in a serious accident. When authorities investigated, they found that an RV ran off the road, struck a guardrail, and overturned around 6 p.m.
The driver of the RV was identified as a man who lost his life in the accident. The passenger was identified as a woman who was hospitalized with serious injuries but is expected to recover.
Police continue their investigation of the accident at this time.
