Dade County, GA (November 12, 2018) – The Georgia State Patrol investigated a fatal accident that took place on Friday, November 9, and identified the party who lost their life.

The accident was so severe that it closed a portion of Interstate 24 in the westbound lanes near the Wildwood exit. The accident took place around 2:30 p.m. that day. Police were able to quickly determine that the accident was a head-on collision. The accident involved a pickup truck and a large truck and severe damages occurred.

Police say that the white pickup truck crossed the median, striking the tractor-trailer head-on. The driver of the pickup lost his life at the scene of the accident.

32-year-old Ramiro Delgado was identified as the man who lost his life in this accident.
