The accident took place on the Covington Highway in the area of Evans Mille Road. The intersection was blocked as a result and delays were reported at the scene of the accident early this morning.

Multiple emergency responders, including an ambulance and a firetruck, were called to the scene of the accident. At this time, police do not know how many vehicles were involved, but they do know that multiple parties were transported to the hospital with injuries.
