The accident took place this morning on Interstate 285 in the westbound lanes at Flat Shoals Road. There were many delays in the area as multiple emergency crews worked the scene of the accident. It is believed that two vehicles might have gotten into a rear-end accident with one another.

EMS crews were called to the scene of the accident so that they could help parties involved. Both vehicles were damaged. Police still continue their investigation of the accident to determine what happened.
