DeKalb County, GA (November 21, 2018) – In DeKalb County, a multi-vehicle accident happened on Interstate 285 that led to injuries in multiple individuals. At this time, police continue to investigate.
The accident took place past Flat Shoals Road in the area of Exit 48. For those that were traveling out of Rockdale and DeKalb Counties, traffic was backed up for quite some time. Emergency responders arrived at the scene when they discovered that multiple people had a variety of injuries, though all are expected to recover.
Police are still trying to determine what led to the accident. In the area, it was issued as a red alert as traffic was backed up for quite some time.
