DeKalb County, GA (October 3, 2018) – On I-85 in DeKalb County, a serious multi-vehicle accident left nine people injured on Sunday, September 30. One person remains in critical condition.
Police said that the accident happened when a Honda Fit stopped in front of a Dodge Caravan near Pleasantdale Road. The Caravan had to quickly veer to the left but wasn’t able to avoid striking the Honda Fit. This caused the Fit to travel into the left lanes, where it was struck by a Honda Pilot and Ford Ranger.
The driver of the Caravan is in critical condition today. However, the rest of the people involved in the accident are expected to be okay.
The accident is still under police investigation at this time.
