DeKalb County, GA (December 23, 2018) – A red alert for a serious highway accident was issued on Interstate 20 in the westbound lanes at Wesley Chapel Road last night that completely blocked lanes for quite some time.

The accident happened around the area of exit 68. All lanes were blocked for quite some time, as many vehicles were involved in the highway accident due to a chain-reaction crash. Many emergency responders were called to the scene to help injured parties and clear the scene.

Those in the area were urged to use Covington Highway for several hours while police investigated the accident. They have not yet determined a cause of what caused the vehicles to collide.
