DeKalb County, GA (December 2, 2018) – Just a few days ago, police reported on a car accident that took place on Interstate 285 in the northbound lanes of the highway. Originally, they reported that seven vehicles were involved in the accident, but updates have been made and more vehicles were actually involved.
The wreck involved four tractor-trailers and multiple other passenger vehicles. The accident took place between Moreland Avenue and Flat Shoals Road in DeKalb. One person was entrapped in a vehicle after the crash, and three people were transported to area hospitals with injuries. One person was announced to be in critical condition, while others had a variety of minor and major injuries. All parties are expected to recover.
The victims have not been identified and the cause of the crash is still under investigation by police. Delays took place in the area for miles.
