Dekalb, GA (December 16, 2018) – A crash on the the westbound side of Interstate 285 near Ashford Dunwoody Road. The accident resulted in the center lanes of the interstate being shut down for over an hour causing massive traffic back-ups.

 

Several Georgia Highway Patrol officers and an ambulance arrived quickly on the scene. Medical treatment was administered to those who needed it. The exact nature and number of injuries are unclear as of this time. Police remained on the scene to clear the blocked traffic lanes and to try to determine the cause of the accident.
