Dillon County, SC (October 31, 2018) – Police say that a high-speed chase took place in Dillon County on Monday.

Dillon County, SC (October 31, 2018) – Police say that a high-speed chase took place in Dillon County on Monday night, October 29 on Highway 9 that ended in a crash. The accident happened in Robeson County and injuries were reported.

The incident initially occurred when Dillon County deputies went to the Perdue chicken plant to serve a warrant on a man who worked at the plant. The man took off running and got inside his vehicle, where he then led deputies on a chase.

The man was driving erratically, which is when he crashed and was thrown from his vehicle. Police said that injuries were reported in the accident.

The deputies are both going to be okay. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
