Dillon County, SC (November 28, 2018) – In Dillon County, injuries were reported in a multi-vehicle truck accident that took place on Interstate 95 and led to a variety of damages. Debris could be seen scattered everywhere across the roadway between mile markers 181 and 183.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol was called to the scene of the accident to find that multiple vehicles were involved in an accident with one another due to the collision between two semi-trucks, where several other vehicles were unable to stop in time and became a part of the collision.
One woman spoke with police and said that traffic was a mess and that it appeared to be a multi-vehicle pile-up. Troopers were in the area to keep traffic moving following the accident.
At this time, police continue to investigate.
