Dillon, SC – Fatal Accident Involving Car and Tractor-Trailer on I-95

Dillon, SC (December 3, 2018) – In Dillon, a fatal accident took place on Interstate 95 that closed all lanes of traffic after a vehicle and a tractor-trailer collided on the highway.

The accident took place around 10:28 a.m. at mile marker 190 in the northbound lanes. At the time, a Subaru Outback was traveling south when they came across debris in the road. The vehicle swerved, causing the driver to plow through the median and strike a tractor-trailer.

One passenger inside the Subaru lost their life in the accident. They were identified as 26-year-old Christopher Rush.

There were three other passengers in the Subaru. Two of them were flown to the hospital to be treated for their injuries. They are expected to recover.

Police continue to investigate the accident at this time.
