Dillon, SC (November 29, 2018) – A Dillon police officer was involved in a serious crash last night, November 28, on Highway 301 that led to severe injuries. Several people who witnessed the accident said that the officer’s cruiser and a pickup truck collided with one another.
The officer, who has not been identified, reportedly sustained a variety of injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment. The wreck appeared to be quite serious according to witnesses and the damage to the vehicles. The South Carolina Highway Patrol continues to investigate the accident.
