Dooly County, GA (December 4, 2018) – Police say that two people lost their lives in a fatal accident that happened on I-75. The accident took place over the weekend and both parties have now been identified.

We originally reported on the accident when a disabled vehicle call came in on Saturday night while heavy rains were coming down on the Interstate. A few minutes later, police received the call about a crash in the same area of Interstate 75. One person from Florida and one from Georgia reportedly lost their lives.

77-year-old Donald Johnson was originally identified in the accident. The 25-year-old from Georgia has since been identified as Edward Livatt.

It took police around four hours to clean up the scene of the accident. They have not determined what caused the accident to occur.

Police continue their investigation into the matter at this time.
