Durham, NC (December 27, 2018) – A bus accident took place involving a multiple vehicles that led to injuries on US 15-501 in Durham yesterday afternoon, December 26.
The crash took place in the westbound lanes of the roadway near the area of Southwest Durham Drive. One vehicle completely rolled over onto its roof, while another struck the bus and received a wide variety of extensive damages.
Five ambulances were called to the scene of the accident, as multiple people received injuries in the accident. At this time, police are not sure of the identities and conditions of those involved.
Police continue to investigate the circumstances leading up to the accident.
