Durham, NC (November 3, 2018) – On Tuesday afternoon, October 30, one man was struck and killed in a pedestrian accident, which landed him in the hospital.
The pedestrian accident took place on Emperor Boulevard between I-540 and South Miami Boulevard. The man had been walking in a crosswalk when a vehicle struck him.
The driver who hit the man said that he was blinded by the sun when the accident occurred.
Police said that the driver had been charged with driving under a suspended license. Police are investigating the accident at this time.
