Durham, NC (December 14, 2018) – This morning, a woman was left in critical condition after she flipped her vehicle. According to Durham Police, the accident happened around 3 a.m.
Police were called about suspicious activity and were given information about a stolen gray Acura. Around 3:30 a.m., officers were able to track down the vehicle. They found that it had been involved in an accident on Elmira Avenue and one person was injured.
A woman was speeding when she was involved in the accident, causing her to jump the curb and flop the vehicle. It landed on somebody’s front lawn and immediately caught on fire. Police are still not sure why she was speeding so quickly.
The name of the woman who was seriously injured in the accident has not been released and police still continue to investigate at this time.
