Early County, GA (December 27, 2018) – Multiple law enforcement agencies were called to the scene of a fatal accident.

Early County, GA (December 27, 2018) – Multiple law enforcement agencies were called to the scene of a fatal accident that took place yesterday on Highway 27.

The accident took place last night around 7:30 p.m. on the shoulder of the highway. Traffic was stopped for about 2 hours while police investigated.

A patrolman said that a Honda ATV and a standard sedan were involved in the accident. The cause of the accident is still under investigation. One driver was seriously injured and hospitalized, and another was killed at the scene of the accident.

Many drivers spoke with police and said that many accidents take place in this area when it becomes dark at night due to negligent drivers and deer. The name of the party who lost their life will be released once family members are notified.
