Fayetteville, NC (November 4, 2018) – Yesterday afternoon, November 4, a 77-year-old woman was injured in a three-vehicle accident that happened around 3 p.m.

The accident happened in the area of Hoke Loop Road. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. She has since been identified as Doris Bryson.

An investigation revealed that the driver of a 2005 Nissan was making a left turn from Raeford Road at the time when her vehicle was struck by a 2003 Ford. The Ford was then forced into a third vehicle, a 2017 Honda.

Police say that the driver of the Ford had the right-of-way. Bryson was a passenger in the vehicle at the time and died at the scene. The driver of the Nissan was identified as 73-year-old Joann McRae and she was charged with misdemeanor by death motor vehicle and a moving violation.
