Fayetteville, NC (November 23, 2018) – Fayetteville Police have been working on identifying the driver who lost their life in.

Fayetteville, NC (November 23, 2018) – Fayetteville Police have been working on identifying the driver who lost their life in a serious fatal Thanksgiving Day crash yesterday. The person has since been identified as 59-year-old Michael Hoffman of Parkton.

Parkton was taken to the hospital and died at the hospital due to his injuries. The crash took place along 2:57 p.m. in the area of Lakewood Drive near the intersection of Middleton Court.

The car was involved in an accident, ran off the road, and struck a utility pole. The driver was ejected from the vehicle and then transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The road was closed in both directions while police investigated. Luckily, no other parties were injured in the accident.
