Florence County, SC (December 8, 2018) – In Florence County, lanes were closed down in the southbound lanes of Interstate.

Florence County, SC (December 8, 2018) – In Florence County, lanes were closed down in the southbound lanes of Interstate 95 after an accident that took place Friday morning.

At the time of the incident, an 18-wheeler was allegedly traveling southbound close to SC-341 when it suddenly became involved in an accident when it crashed into a bridge. The damages to the bridge closed all lanes southbound around 5 a.m.

Police had to detour traffic for quite some time around the area of Exit 146. At this time, we are unsure of what type of injuries were reported, but that emergency services were there.

Police continue to investigate the accident at this time.
