Florence, SC (October 28, 2018) – Police were called to the scene of a fatal wreck that happened yesterday, October 27, in Florence County. The accident happened in the early morning hours.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol arrived at the scene of the accident around 1:15 a.m. on Old River Road. The driver had been traveling south when they ran off the road, which sent the vehicle flying into a ditch. The vehicle flipped several times off the side of the road.
The driver was not wearing their seatbelt and was thrown around inside the vehicle. At this time, police and the coroner’s office are investigating the accident.
