Savannah, GA (November 16, 2018) – In Savannah on Thursday evening, November 15, a Florida man was hospitalized following a serious head-on collision on Ogeechee Road.

The man was identified as 19-year-old Michael Thomas Jr., who was injured in the accident that took place around 6:30 p.m. At the time, he had been traveling north in his Isuzu Rodeo when a vehicle suddenly ran through a stop sign at the Liberty Parkway. Thomas had to swerve to miss the vehicle, which put him into oncoming traffic.

Thomas’ vehicle was struck by 44-year-old Wilmer White III in a Chevy Silverado. Both Thomas and White were transported to the hospital with various injuries. At this time, we do not know either of their conditions.
