Forsyth County, GA (October 31, 2018) – A head-on collision took place on October 24 in Forsyth County that took the life of one woman in the early morning hours. Police say that the accident happened on Jot Em Down Road when a Toyota crossed the center line and struck a Honda. Both vehicles went off the side of the road and landed in a yard.

The driver of the Honda was identified as 71-year-old Barbara Morgan Fowler. She died at the scene of the accident. Her husband was in the Honda at the time and was taken to the hospital with a variety of serious injuries.

The occupants in the Toyota only received minor injuries and are expected to be okay. Police continued to investigate the accident for several hours and their investigation continues today.
