Gainesville, GA (November 18, 2018) – In North Georgia, a plane accident took place that left one man dead and another seriously injured. The accident took place last night, November 17.

68-year-old Robert Carlisle Alberhasky was believed to have been the pilot of the small, private plane. He lost his life last night. He also had one passenger with him, who has since been identified as 69-year-old Mark Lewis. He received critical injuries and remains in the hospital at this time.

Police say that witnesses said the 2015 plane was about to land at the Lee Gilmer Memorial Airport when it ran into some trees and a tower in the area.

At this time, multiple parties are investigating the incident.
