Garden City, GA (December 5, 2018) – In Garden City, injuries were reported in a school bus accident, but police are continuing their investigation into the matter for more details. The bus belonged to the Savannah-Chatham County Public School.

The crash happened just a bit ago at 5 p.m. on December 5 near Salt Creek and Pineland Roads.

At the time of the accident, an SUV struck a bus with students on it from Gould Elementary. Emergency responders were quickly called to the scene, as one or more people were trapped inside their vehicle. Injuries have been reported, but we do not know what extent.

Garden City Police and EMS were called to the scene to help. Police continue their investigation of the matter at this time.
