Garden City, GA – Police Investigate 18-Wheeler Accident Involving Scooter

Garden City, GA (October 3, 2018) – The Georgia Highway Patrol is currently investigating an 18-wheeler accident involving a scooter.

Police are saying that the driver of the 18-wheeler struck a man on a motor scooter and then fled the scene. The man on the scooter died as a result of the collision and was identified as 65-year-old Ronald Robinson.

Witnesses at the scene said that the 18-wheeler pushed the scooter and Robinson down the street before he fled the scene. Troopers are still searching for the driver of the truck, and an investigation is ongoing
