Georgetown County, SC (November 26, 2018) – Yesterday afternoon, November 25, one person lost their life in a fatal accident.

Georgetown County, SC (November 26, 2018) – Yesterday afternoon, November 25, one person lost their life in a fatal accident that took place in Georgetown County.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol found that a vehicle was involved in an accident around 1:30 p.m. on Old Pee Dee Road. The vehicle that was badly damaged was identified as a van headed east at the time.

A passenger was not wearing a seatbelt and died in the accident. The driver was taken to the hospital with injuries. The identity of the passenger has not yet been released.

Troopers are still investigating the accident at this time.
