At the time of the accident, a 27-year-old was involved in an accident and the children inside the van were both injured and killed. The accident happened around 12:28 a.m. on Highway 253. The children who lost their lives were identified as 4-year-old Arnez Yaron Jamison Jr., 6-year-old Robbiana Evans, and 8-year-old Jamire Halley.

Jackie Brown, their mother, has been tending to the fourth child at the hospital, who is still in critical condition today, Sunday. The driver is also being hospitalized at this time.

Police have since spoken to those who live in the area and they have said that the road is treacherous and curvy at times. Many people said that you typically can’t see the headlights coming up over the road.

Charges are pending in the accident. Their investigation continues.
