Greenville County, SC (December 26, 2018) – A driver lost their life in a fatal accident that took place on Interstate 385 on Christmas morning around 11:10 a.m. in the southbound lanes.
The crash took place between exit 29-30 near W. George Road. The coroner’s office said that, at the time of the accident, the driver of a 2003 Mitsubishi Crossover was involved in an accident that caused a driver’s vehicle to go off the side of the road.
51-year-old Rezinia Rosemond was identified as the driver who lost her life. Rosemond was immediately thrown from her SUV. Rosemond was taken to the hospital where she died due to her injuries.
Police believe that Rosemond was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident. At this time, police continue their investigation of the accident.
