Greenville County, SC (October 28, 2018) – One person lost their life in a serious pedestrian accident that took place.

Greenville County, SC (October 28, 2018) – One person lost their life in a serious pedestrian accident that took place in Greenville County along White Horse Road Friday night, October 26.

The accident took place around 11 p.m. that night, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, who quickly responded to the accident. The victim was identified as 20-year-old Tamija Alissa Hawkins of Greenville.

At the time, police discovered that Hawkins had been crossing the street when she was struck by a Honda driving south. Hawkins was taken to the hospital by ambulance but died due to her injuries while there.

The driver and passenger in the vehicle that struck her did not receive injuries. At this time, the accident is still being investigated.
