Greenville County, SC – Two Taylors Residents Die in Fatal Accident

Greenville County, SC (November 20, 2018) – Police say that two Taylors residents lost their lives in a fatal accident.

Greenville County, SC (November 20, 2018) – Police say that two Taylors residents lost their lives in a fatal accident this morning, November 20, and their identities have since been released.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol identified the two drivers as 21-year-old Austin Taylor Bruice and 56-year-old Dawn Taylor Epps. The accident happened on Sandy Flat Road near Jackson Grove Road.

The two-car accident took place when Bruice crossed the center line in his Toyota and struck an oncoming Hyundai, occupied by Epps. Bruice was trying to negotiate a sharp right-hand curve when his vehicle went into the other side of traffic. Epps had been coming toward him from the other direction. The two vehicles collided head-on.

Even though both residents were wearing seatbelts, they both died at the scene of the accident.
