Greenville, SC (December 13, 2018) – In Greenville, troopers are currently investigating a hit-and-run accident that involved a bicyclist. Police say that the bicyclist was hospitalized with injuries.
The accident took place on Anderson Road tonight while the man was riding along on his bicycle and was suddenly struck by a vehicle. The vehicle driver did not stop and continued driving without checking on the well-being of the bicyclist.
The victim was transported to the hospital and police say that they are expected to make a full recovery.
Police have not released any identifying information on the vehicle that struck the bicyclist. At this time, they continue to investigate the accident.
